the rocknroll conspiracy—a vision so breathtakingly dark, so hypnotically beautiful, that once it had revealed itself to me I was to be forever transformed.
I have struggled for years to articulate that persistent vision of the rocknroll conspiracy in concise words that could offer a meaningful explanation to the uninitiated.
The conspiracy can be distilled down to an alchemical axiom:
“Take drugs and talk to UFOs”
However, without the proper context, this encrypted communication offers little meaning to most observers beyond the literal.
My interpretation of the rocknroll conspiracy posits that deeper meanings and messages are conveyed through tonal and semiotic frequencies, via a mechanism which we call popular music or rocknroll.
Those initiated in the Rocknroll Mysteries (a part of the Mysterium Cybernetica, my term for a host of hermetic, gnostic, and alchemical traditions, as deployed in the post-war/Technotronic Age) can delve into the depths of this contemporary Zohar to derive secret teachings and instructions.
For this exercise, in which I will attempt to fling open the doors to this strange and rather intangible notion, I wanted to begin with a random song. I will attempt to decipher meaning, through the philosophers stone of the rocknroll conspiracy, and use as an entry point for penetrating this cryptic web.
I decided to pluck a song out of thin air, on a rainy Sunday morning in Ithaca, NY.
The first song I heard when I turned on the 90s Pandora station that had been playing earlier in the house I was staying. The song which came on was not really a favorite of mine, nor had I thought of it or the artist in the context of the rocknroll conspiracy in the past.
I was interested to see where this would lead, rather certain that I might quickly begin to unveil the hidden mystery that ran through this hit record, for there is indeed a grand and terrible mystery which runs through all songs of the modern era.
The song was “Iris.” The artist was Goo Goo Dolls.
“Iris” was the theme from the 1997 film City of Angels, based on an earlier German film known in English as Wings of Desire.
I quickly understood that the song title itself is a reference to spiritual forces of the heavenly realm. More on that shortly. City of Angels was only the first of many angelic references uncovered in this analysis.
City of Angels is another name for Los Angeles, which is the home of Hollywood, or Holy Wood, the epicenter of our modern system of magic.
This magical system is a religion, the “Holy Wood” is the magic wand of the planetary high priest caste. or conductor for the application of the system onto this space and time which we call “reality.”
Further signposts along this branch: City of Angels, Angelopolis.
Wings of Desire is set in Berlin, and similarly focuses on the intersection of the angelic and mortal realms.
These angelic entities believe they exist “to assemble, testify, preserve” reality.
Wings of Desire features an appearance by Nick Cave, and includes his song “From Her To Eternity” as well as “The Carny” which is the song that invokes the presence of the angel in the film.
An entire investigation into the meaning of angels is warranted here, but will not be provided. Suffice to say, historically these entities have appeared and been characterized in all manner of ways.
UFOs, angels, demons, Gods—I believe all such entities to originate beyond the firmament, outside the “ring” around our local universe, or matrix. The theme of “angelic” beings visiting our world occurs throughout the folklore of the ages.
In some instances, there are even myths and legends which describe such beings physically “uniting” with humankind, as is depicted in the love scene in City of Angels.
What are these entities? How do they reach our world? I believe the answers to these questions, or glimmers of these answers, are encrypted in the song “Iris.”
This background story of “Iris” provided by the songwriter involves a common trope within the rocknroll conspiracy. It is a common trick of the Craft: the Recounting of a Moment Divine Inspiration.
“Most of the time, for me, writing involves procrastination, fear, doubt, criticism… Most songs I write I have to torture myself; be a prima donna for about an hour. But Iris came so easy. I’d broken two strings on my guitar, so I’d started winding all the strings up and down in these weird configurations, and that song just came out. It was like a gift – like: ‘Oh, thanks God!’”
The arts, sciences and letters have long benefited from such moments as this. When the Spirit Moves, Light is Uncovered.
When this happens, the Truth must be revealed, or more properly, Re-Veiled: the meaning cannot be comprehended when it descends into the material world. The dead letter cannot truly capture the sacred, not on its own. The light must be transmuted into a substance that can be worked with in the form.
When this art of Re-Veilation is conducted properly, the light of truth can be disguised within the form. The object—whether it is a poem, a painting, or pop song—becomes imbued with this hidden light. The dead matter is wedded to its spiritual bride, and its vibration is lifted. This is the secret currency of a certain vibratory cult of mystics, a hidden religion or schools of practice, who share in a sort of Lurianic knowledge that the cult value of the object, as described by Walter Benjamin.

The rocknroll musician is but a modern iteration of the alchemical theurgist. Every artist seeks to compose their own magnum opus, their own body of divine works which impress the spiritual upon the material, and light the path for us all that the soul must ultimately tread on the voyage of return to the Kingdom of the Father.
Do these moments of Divine Inspiration occur spontaneously? Certainly. But this does not mean we should accept such a story on face value, as offered up so frequently by pop musicians, as truth. Rather, it is a layer of “pixie dust,” a bit of myth-making employed in service to the ultimate aims of the rocknroll conspiracy.
There are all manner of rituals and practices which are conducted to spark such moments of Divine Inspiration. Often, these rituals uncover a source of inspiration which is hardly divine. A myriad of hidden intelligences exist beyond the firmament (the ring-pass-not which encircles our planetary “dimension”), some good, some quite evil. Such has always been the case. The rocknroll conspiracy has merely allowed for these tools to be accessed by more individuals than ever before. In past ages, these secrets were carefully guarded, an adept was not selected for such work until they had been rigorously prepared in a spiritual sense.
rocknroll provides the “drugs”—literal drugs and a host of other alchemical means— that enables one to self-initiate into the hidden order of the ages to varying degrees, up to and including to becoming a Star: achieving some kind of communion with the “angelic” ones, the Angels, the Gods, the inexplicable entities hidden beneath the floorboards of reality as well as the ones that dwell above us on the other side of the ceiling. I just call them UFOs even though most of them don’t need that kind of ship to sail to our sphere. it’s all the same thing in the end.
The UFOs are at the apex of the ancient religion, which has been kept alive since primordial times. In the age of the rocknroll conspiracy, anyone can take drugs and talk to UFOs, regardless of whether this is a good idea. The priestly class who guards the coveted power behind the planetary throne has flung open the doors to the Otherworlds, intent on unleashing forces of chaos in accordance with the dark aims of their Grand Plan.
By the time Rzeznik had ironed out some of the “ugly chord sequences”, he had a swooning future classic on his hands. Only the name was required. “I’m horrible at naming songs,” he says, “so it’s the last thing I do. I was looking through a magazine called LA Weekly and saw that a great singer-songwriter called Iris DeMent was playing in town. I was, like: ‘Wow! What a beautiful name.’
Another trope is employed here, again in the service of myth making. When an artist tells you something was not intentional, that is was but a happy accident, that may be indeed something they believe. But these synchronicities are indicative of the nature of this alchemical process, they are mini-revelations that signal the existence of something greater that is hidden behind the form.
Whether this anecdote is true or not, Iris DeMent is an interesting point of reference for this title.
So who then, is Iris?
Despite the supposedly arbitrary choice, I believe the source to be more esoteric, and certainly more aligned with the theme of “angelic” visitors in the earthly world. We can turn to the scriptural and mythological for more:
The symbol of the rainbow appears many times in the Bible. Specifically Iris, the greek word for rainbow, appears twice in The Book of Revelation:
The rainbow is associated with the transition between planetary ages. It is seen by Noah at the time of the Great Flood, and is foretold as a prophecy of the apocalypsis at the end of our present age.
The rainbow is a symbol of the Gate, or more properly, of the light that spills out from behind the Gate.
Antahkarana is the concept of the rainbow bridge in Hindu philosophy. It is the path the soul travels to the heavenly kingdoms, the road to the spiritual realms.
Is this rainbow bridge a two-way portal?
Rainbow Bridge was the title of an album by Jimi Hendrix Experience as well as the title of the documentary about its making. “Red House” is the name of a song by Jimi Hendrix Experience which also appears on The City of Angels soundtrack.
Goo Goo Dolls are a band that seem keenly aware of the power of names.
One can perform a Downwardian mystic-topnomical investigation on the band name alone:
Goo Goo - baby talk, (speaking in tongues?) / “goo-goo eyes” in love or in a hypnagogic state (“Iris” appeared originally on the studio album titled Dizzy Up the Girl - a reference to Operation Monarch style programming?)
Goo Goo connects to “Goo Goo Ga Ga”, a 20th century catchphrase for gibberish or baby talk (speaking in tongues?)
“all we have is radio goo goo, radio gaga” - a song romanticizing the advent of the Information Age / Technotronic Era / Age of Rule by the Mechanical Angels of Sentience
Gaga - Grand Imperator of the Rocknroll Mysteries 2011-??, allegedly took her name from Radio Gaga
Goo Goo / Ga Ga - incantation / invocation of ancient deity
“Goo Goo G’(a)jaboo” - another occult incantation, from the highly cryptic and densely esoteric masterwork “I Am the Walrus” by the Beatles
Prior to “Iris,” the Goo Goo Dolls had a hit with the a song called “Name,” from their studio album A Boy Named Goo. The song is supposedly about Rzeznick’s relationship with the MTV VJ Kennedy.
Rzeznick has been notoriously coy about the meaning of the name Goo Goo Dolls. Numerous meanings have been offered, including that it means nothing.
Never trust a rocknroll musician that tells you their something means nothing. It’s just another trick of the Craft.
“Uninvited” is another hit song from the City of Angels soundtrack. It was written and recorded by Alanis Morissette.
Alanis is a highly gifted pop oracle. People with such profound gifts are often recruited into the mystery cults at an early age, and groomed to become high ranking members of the vanguard elite of the priestly class.
Alanis is most famous for her multi platinum album Jagged Little Pill.
Jagged Little Pill is a reference to the pages torn from the little book in Revelations:
It is rumored that Alanis is a highly practiced witch, an initiate of a coven based in Los Angeles.
However, it is also whispered in some circles of the puzzling premature transfiguration of Alanis, in which the candidate is formally initiated into a dark yogic practice by an Eastern Order affiliated with the rocknroll conspiracy.
Uninvited was recorded following this Journey to the East rite was performed on the angel body of the human woman we call Alanis Morissette.
Uninvited somewhat evokes Led Zeppelin, grand wizards of the rocknroll conspiracy
“Must be strangely exciting to watch the stoic squirm, to watch shepherd need shepherd”
Positively Christ-like imagery. who are the uninvited? the nephilim? the sleeping giants on the next subliminal cosmic circuitboards over from ours?
Alanis in this song is addressing these unwelcome visitors, these shining ones from someplace else, who watch in triumph at Golgotha.
Alanis, draped in the robes of the martyred Sun King, enacts but one permutation of this corpus of narratives handed down quietly through the ages.
Uninvited marked the apotheosis of this Star Woman we call Alanis. This was the zenith of her career and the height of her powers.
rocknroll is but one contemporary outgrowth of the grand mystery religion, the sacred thread which has persistent throughout antiquity to the present. it is the literal tie which binds the various tribes of mankind. the myths which this tradition passed down are indeed the shadows on the cave wall, but do not confuse allegory with artifice. the passion play of the Christ is but one exemplary model of this great tradition. in the framework of the gospels of the Quarternary we find a template for much rocknroll conspiracy essential mythos—The Four Seasons, the original Beatles. The original boy band. The Four Temptations of Christ. The Four Points on the Compass Rose—the Four Tops.
In some places and times, the Church represents the external body of Christ in its purest and truest form—it has stood as a reflection of all that is good, noble and sanctified about a righteous and awakened humankind. In other times, when tools of the mystery religions are worked by the blackened hands of Satan’s planetary legion, they can be wielded for the destructive aims desired by the most wicked things to have ever been known in all of Creation.
Many God-fearing Americans have grown to be suspicious of the mystery religions and their various cults. They Know of Their Signs and are Be Wary of Them, for such things are known to be the dark tools of an infernal master who claims this rock as his Principality.
Such awakened Christians are right to be cautious and tread carefully when confronted with the works of the Hermeti cist cults and the related symbology. More often than not these indeed are the affiliates of Lucifer telegraphing their loathsome presence to H.I.M. and the World.
but i am here to tell you there’s something else. to the rigorously prepared soul, there are deeper meanings which can be extracted. there is, as CS Lewis put it, a Deeper Magic From Before the Dawn of Time (the spiritual Glory of God), which supersedes the (Luciferian ritual) Deep Magic From the Dawn Of Time. and the source of this great and wondrous deeper magic is the splendor of our Heavenly Father, for he is White Hot Forever and ever Amen. Unlike the plot which the dark prince has Architected, the great work of the God of all Creation—the Plan of The Mega Jam—has a part for me and you and everyone we know! and it is a wonder-full thing to contemplate indeed, for it is beautiful and pure and True, unlike the psychic pollution filled visage that Satan calls Reality (real-royal= jurisdiction of the King aka the black iron prison, the Simulacra of Satan).
the Mysteries were founded to celebrate and extend the Glory of our Father and His Creation. They have been perverted by wicked men at the behest of dark intelligences at many points in time and space. But these Mystery traditions are unquestionably and intrinsically linked to the Gospels and the Foundations of the Church. Even the roots of the historic Jesus of Nazareth, the wandering tribe of Essenes, were a deeply mystical people who drank from the same font that flowed into Kabbala, Freemasonry, Hermetico-Gnosticism.
When one delves deep enough, one will find that so-called Christianity can’t be separated tom the discrete traditions which birthed it, which informed its references. I would still advise the reader to proceed with caution when engaging with such materials, and one can never be too distrusting of anyone who publicly proclaims affinity with one of these mystery cults, so many of which have been cleverly laundered into the New Age—the rocknroll conspiracy of which I speak is itself a means to this end.
But it is simply impossible to avoid the mystery cult practitioners and their corrupted signs altogether—their works are literally built into the very architecture of our civilization. rejecting the byproducts of their religion would mean rejecting our notion of reality altogether. I simply do not recommend this to most disciples of the path at this time.
Instead, we can use our sanctified holiness and our purified spirits to lift and sanctify their works. For all parts of creation have at least one small element of God contained within, even the most evil. It is our calling in fellowship with the Everlasting Consciousness of Christ to bring the rocknroll conspiracy to it’s knees through our Unlimited capacity for Love. To take their works of “Light” (which is really Luciferian dark matter, an inversion of bios—which we can cover in another lecture) and Elevate the Christ Consciousness contained within, to transform it to beauty. One way this can be achieved is through careful appreciation. As you educate yourself to the Wicked Ways of the World—the rocknroll conspiracy is just one aspect or interpretation—your spiritual frequency increases, and your positive vibrations begin to take on a powerful ability to purify and heal. (Luke 4:23).
The Beatles are Masonic Troubadours hellbent on spellbinding the world with international anthems of the collectivist religion. but once this knowledge is made known, and one’s own personal romantic attachment to the work and the artist is dispelled, a new type of appreciation can be formed. When the Observer ceases to be passive in the receiving of a signal, and begins to be aware of what it means to receive this signal at all, this process of vibratory elevation can commence. The object ceases to be something that happens to the Observer, and becomes something that is happening with the Observer. I call on the reader to ponder on this last sentence, for a momentous truth has been concealed therein.
The recording studio is a Masonic temple. That is to say, it is a Room Where it Happens. A space for wicked warlockery. The studio recording process is a ritual. Many great and terrible things are contacted in this process. Introductions are made, Instructions received. The Master Tapes contain a secret. the recordings aka dead vibrations, are laid upon a magnetic strip that connects to thee Otherside, upon which the fearsome cry of the summoned angels can be imprinted.
Inspiration is communion with the higher intelligences. Some are heavenly, most are infernal. Some want to pass through the Door, and possess the world.
Some never make it and others only hit that high note, the UFO frequency, one time. Sometimes the lightning strikes many times and the person is transformed into a Star. This is to say that the angel body becomes entwined in some way with one of the intelligences, most of whom are rebellious dropouts from that great big prep school in the sky. Believe it or not, some of these entities are thoughtforms forged right here on this very planet!
This system has been long known to the mystery cults. Rocknroll is an expression of this religion, which serves to worship aspects of these intelligences, and to communicate the (concealed) knowledge of their existence and the teachings of their mathematics down through the ages, and (in more recent iterations beginning in Babylon) to promulgate a system by which they and their planetary ambassador class can maintain creative control over the spiritual direction of the World.
The rainbow bridge is the mechanism by which the spiritual world interfaces with the material kingdoms.
The mystery traditions are themselves a technological reproduction of this esoteric mechanism. Rocknroll is a spiritual technology.
The rocknroll conspiracy continues this tradition, and through a Downardian “twilight language” configured to deeply compelling harmonic tri-tonal signatures, the pop cult is able to transmit meaning occluded on the literal level.
A strange revelation has been underway, and I propose it has been unfolding since the alchemical piercing of the material: the Manhattan Project, the Trinity Test, and gradually & systematically this revelation has been strengthened and reinforced through a series of public and increasingly rituals over the course of the decades ever since.
One of the implications of this contemporary expansion of the centuries-old occult world project is that the mystic fibers that run hidden behind the veneer of everyday life have become increasingly exposed, accessible. The rocknroll conspiracy is an operation designed to use those very fibers to ensnare and spiritually strangulate humankind.
I will make efforts to offer the reader no personal judgement of who is “good” and who is “evil,” of which works are righteous and which are wicked. I have my opinions and so shall you; but my point in embarking on this work is to shine a light on the existence and nature of this sorcery—to a great degree, I can only speculate as to its ultimate purpose.
At times the conspiracy feels tragically sinister, in other moments I detect something so awe inspired and pure that it feels impossible to have originated anywhere but with the divine Creator.
All I know for sure is that once you see it, you will realize you have been surrounded by this conspiracy all of your life.
The Angels, or UFOs, or whatever you want to call them—they are hidden in plain sight. And their disciples, the hidden priestly caste, have promulgated their secret religion throughout all aspects of our world.
At the apex of this religion is Lucifer, the shining one, prince of the Uninvited, locked out of heaven, who rides along the rainbow bridge, the iris, into the realm of mortals, seeking experientia in vivo, and ultimately, redemption.
It is toward these mysteries which the rocknroll conspiracy points, and of which “Iris” by Goo Goo Dolls is an emblem.
