THE D4VDQ V

In which Poolhouse makes the ultimate case for why the murder of Celeste Rivas cannot be divorced from the industry players that managed D4vD without an explanation.

Poolhouse is back on the case, making the argument that the tragic death of cannot be separated from the music industry apparatus that surrounded and supported — from housing arrangements to tour logistics that prosecutors themselves claim Celeste became involved in. This episode asks a difficult question: why does the prosecution’s recent filing appear so determined to obscure the role of the industry and its surrounding network? Poolhouse digs into the identity of a mysterious grand jury witness represented by powerhouse attorney, while tracing patterns that suggest a coordinated choreography of public relations strategies seemingly designed to shield institutions and industry players rather than the vulnerable people caught within them. As the threads begin to connect, Here Comes the Backklash pushes past surface narratives to ask the questions no one else seems willing to ask — in pursuit of the fuller truth behind an increasingly complicated story.

The Music Industry Individuals Reportedly Connected to David Anthony Burke aka D4vD. Surely, they must have witnessed…something?

Joshua Marshall - the one you are supposed to think is David’s day-to day manager, he is the found of Mogul Vision, the talent company that represents D4vD. The lease was in his name at the Doheny Place residence (where the Tesla was parked and murder is allged to have happened and where Celeste is alleged to have lived by prosecutors in the summer of 2024) where David was staying. I allege that his “statements” (replies on Tik Tok in September 2025) were part of a pattern of PR / SEO activity, in order to surface Marshall as “David’s manager” as a scapegoat and deflect attention from the other two parties.

Robert Morgenroth (the reported day to day manager of D4vD) and his high powered attorney, Eva Jenness. Jenness also represents another unkown party in the D4vD investigation.

Robert Morgenroth - the actual day to day manager. May or may not have lived at the Doheny Pl residence. Testified before the grand jury in December 2025. Barely surfaced in media reports outside a few isolated incidents. Was photographed backstage in the vicinity of Celeste at the Fonda (June 2024) and presumably would have been involved in her transport when she trabeled with David on tour in summer of 2024 (per prosecutors). Alleged to be in a romantic or domestic relationship with…

Layne Cooperstein - GM at The Darkroom, aka Darkroom Records:

Darkroom Records (often referred to as The Darkroom) is a full-service record label and management company founded by Justin Lubliner in 2014, known primarily as the partner label to Interscope Records that signed and developed Billie Eilish. It functions as a boutique, forward-thinking label focusing on artist development, creative strategies, and digital-era branding. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Credited for the development of D4vD’s market expansion and development as an artist. Speculated to be the “missing witness” who was refusing to cooperate with Beth Silverman’s grand jury in December 2025. Rumored to be in some type of relationship with Robert Morgenroth, as well as possibly housing or sharing a house with 14yo victim Celeste Rivas in the summer prior to her death.
