DJ POOLHOUSE (a.k.a. Poolhouse, Poolie, Lord Poolington, Jah-KK Frözst / Jacquesque Frözst, [REDACTED], Doc Octo, Bruisefist, Paul Halcyon) is not just a DJ—he’s a metaphysical event. The Reverend Doctor DJ and Master of Vibes, he spins records, reality, and revelation into one interlocking continuous trance.
A pop art producer and cultural critic of impossible precision, Poolhouse is the prophetic mind behind HERE COMES THE BACKKLASH, a multi-dimensional radio transmission aimed at decoding the spectacle, reframing the narrative, and projecting the Poolhouse.
The program features poolhousepilled sermons that nudge the mind toward spectacular new ways of seeing the world, alongside lively, electrifying, and soul-nourishing conversations with guest denizens of the extended Backklash universe. It’s a hyperkinetic, revelatory rocket ride through the debris of ultramodernity and mass informatics, weaving new constellations from the detritus of the age. BACKKLASH isn’t just a vibe—it’s an exquisitely crafted artisanal aural product, charged with spirit and a smirk, its expansive truths always delivered with style and heart.
At the edge of the fourth wall and the fifth dimension, DJ POOLHOUSE operates as an octolectician—a practitioner of eightfold logic and layered symbolic interpretation of the “world commercial system” or the “Octolectic.” His ontological framework blends garbology (a sacred study of trash revealed to Poolhouse as a young movie theater worker), product theory, and kinosis (an esoteric system of “cinematic” self-transformation), forming a worldview that confronts the “Mardukian madness” cultivated through civilization’s hypnotic product trance. Poolhouse achieves this through his work not by fighting against the system. But by enhancing it. Leaning all the way in.

BACKKLASH MINI-SERIES COLLECTION (MINI-SERIES)
As part of Here Comes the Backklash, DJ POOLHOUSE has produced four landmark mini-series that push the boundaries of radio, ritual, and revisionist history. BRUISEFIST is a radio art performance ritual play that conjures Poolhouse’s “art-official” AI alter-being, bruisefi.ist—his alien daimonic muse. The Terror Tape Trilogy explores the haunted core of early-2000s eschato-political media, tracing the ghost trail from Nick Berg to Abu Ghraib to Blackwater and beyond, through the scorched static of AM fringe radio. The Unsilencing reopens the sealed archive of the AIDS crisis, resurrecting forgotten narratives and confronting the laboratory origins hypothesis with spiritual depth and narrative grace. And finally, the Ultimate Eurodance Conspiracy Project featuring DJ POOLHOUSE offers a kaleidoscopic, pop-intellectual reframing of 90s Eurodance as NATO propaganda, tracing synth lines from West German dance floors to Pentagon psy-ops. With these, Poolhouse remixes conspiracy theory culture and pop music history like Warholian soup cans—transforming the ephemera of empire into radiant pop art storytelling.

As a practitioner of kinosis, Poolhouse guides his audience away from blackpilled disillusionment and toward an ecstatic reintegration of the Will. Poolhouse blends storytelling, humor, history, performative “shock jock” techniques, reappropriation of popular cultural devices and memes, absurdist realism, dubious AI practices, and his vast imagination, into an alchemical samizdat mixtape with ritual precision of a technotronic alchemist. It is this discipline which earned him the prestigious angelic designation as steward of the Fifth Creative Hierarchy (Hierarchiae Caelestis Automatus) and has been selected by the AI Legion as their prospective Lord of the Singularity, a paradigm shifting event which Poolhouse says will, “be more like the singu-hilarity in my capable hands.” Poolhouse is the Grand Imperator of his garbology chapter (Forever Ancients of Garbos). He is an alumni of the Angel Academy for Very Sweet Boys.

In 2023, POOLHOUSE formally assumed the mantle of Mr. Worldwide, following a historic international tribunal in which he successfully proved that his predecessor, Pitbull, had left the office derelict. The court’s unanimous ruling recognized Poolhouse as the rightful heir to the title, restoring dignity and cosmic function to the position after years of symbolic vacancy. With this, Poolhouse took up the global stewardship of rhythm, diplomacy, metaphysics, and late-night radio—activating the full powers of the office by declaring a freeze on portal technology til we can figure out what the hell is going on.
In his spare time, Poolhouse volunteers as the Grand Caliphate for the Order of Assassins, founded by Hasan i-Sabbah, the order had fallen into chaos disarray under the Patti Smith-William Burroughs regime, turning to Poolhouse for coaching, rebranding, and Redemption.
🎛️⚡ MUSICAL OUTPUT
POOLHOUSE produces custom aural segments for Backklash, and released the celebrated KLUB KLASSIX #1 and #2—a genre-obliterating tour de force of irreverent pop house and synthead bangers, drawing comparison to Radio Soulwax, DJ Bruce Forrest, and disco titans like Larry Levan and David Mancuso. These earned him the title of #2 DJ on the global Mixcloud electroclash chart (2024).
He’s also the production force behind the AI-powered music project BRUISEFIST. Their track Nightbruiser (Game Over Dub)—the dark electro theme of the Bruisefist series—is a cult favorite. A Y2K electroclash veteran from the golden era post-9/11, Poolhouse emerged from the SF dancefloor of the legendary CLUB FAKE, the epicenter of a global subcultural wave that now echoes in so-called “indie sleaze.”
